Let’s get things started and say, what a year it has been. With the pandemic and all that it brings to the table, we have had a tough few months, but things are starting to lighten up. Not only have we been digging our heads down into our Kepler infrastructure, but we have also been planning and reviewing where we are, what we want to do and where we want to go.

At the beginning of 2020, we launched our Beta Production infrastructure and onboarded our first 100 clients to the new stack. Since then, have we been expanding at a controllable rate, with new features launching almost weekly? We hit a significant roadblock in 2020 with our backup and restore module. Still, after a month or two, we finally saw the light in the tunnel and managed to solve and expand our possibilities when it comes to backup and restores.

The vision with Kepler Hosting is to go the extra mile for our customers. To develop a straightforward platform that can cater to everyone from a single site blogger to an agency or developer who needs to push the limits.

2020 has been a learning year for us, but we are pushing the limits and our limits together with our partners, who we would like to thank for supporting us all the way.

The Kepler Hosting team is an international team of highly skilled technical Nerds who see the need for better hosting worldwide and in the Nordic region. We are a WordPress & WooCommerce hosting provider that is fair both in performance, usability and pricing—not compromising any part.

The end of 2020 gave us proof that we are going in the right direction with a large amount of activity and noise growing for our platform and system, so we set out to do even better in 2021!

Now this year has been a blast to the moon and back. Significant infrastructure changes will make Kepler a better place and our core network much more stable.

With features like custom SSL, DevTools like etc/hosts, dedicated IP dresses for each container, staging and development environments, host to host migrations, and advanced database/file sync between different sites and environments, it’s all coming to fruition.

We are currently in our Phase 1 series of development where SSL, infrastructural changes, and DevTools like etc/hosts will launch in the next few days.

This change will give us a significant edge, especially compared to other hosting providers in the Nordic region.

However, there is something to know about Kepler. We are not a VPS or dedicated hosting service provider. We focus on being the best at WordPress and WooCommerce hosting and doing what others have not done and might not do either.

Our vision is vital. We want to push the envelope of what is possible.

Stay tuned for our weekly summary and follow our journey to the next Kepler galaxy of things!
